My building lobby is under renovation. They have added this new sign at the entrance but nobody seems to care!!

It's a Pottery Day!!

Here is one of my favourite piece.

First I made a cylinder on a wheel. Then applied some silicate on mid portion using a paint brush. When it dried, I gave a round belly shape to the pot.

Here is the picture when I dipped the pot in glazes and after final firing. 

The pot was dipped in black glaze and top was dipped in new beige. I also ran some new beige inside the pot. It turned out really well. 

Here is my Nacho and dip plate. Well, I always think about Idli-Sambhar.. I have attached the small bowl to the plate. Naren really liked this idea. Plate was dipped in warm green and Saturated iron over it.

The Blue cup. I am not really happy with this one as base color turned out really different but its really cool for cup of Cappuccino. 

I made four mugs today. Next week all I am gonna do is trimming the mugs and attaching handles.
